WILLIAM HUNTER WEAVER
May 9, 1992 - January 23, 2021

On January 23,2021, William Hunter Weaver, son, brother, and friend of many, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 28. On this day, Hunter was set free and no longer bound to his wheelchair and entered the peaceful life of heaven. He is reunited with his grandparents Bill and Joada Weaver, James and Sue Kerr, and step brother Adam Fanning. He is survived by his parents Traci Hicks (Donny), Blane Weaver (Leigh), sister Brandie Weaver, step brothers Tyler Hicks, Alex Fanning, step sister Ashley Fanning, and Grandparents Don Hicks (Ann), Herbert Putnam (Shelby), as well as extended family that are to many to mention but that he loved dearly and they loved him as well. Hunter Weaver's life will be honored and celebrated with a drive through procession at the Peoples Residence in Trussville from 1:00pm-2:30pm Saturday January 30, 2021. A procession, led by Trussville police will begin in the First Baptist Church Trussville parking lot at 1:00pm and proceed to 7721 Happy Hollow Road. Please read below for complete details that include times, directions, instructions, etc., for this Coronavirus free drive through event. Please join us Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Magic Moments of Birmingham (magicmoments.org) who not only brightened Hunter’s day on many occasions but also brightens the days of many other children.

SERVICE

A Celebration of the life of William Hunter Weaver will take place at 7721 Happy Hollow Rd, Trussville, AL 35173 on Saturday January 30, 2021. In light of the Coronavirus crisis we face, we have developed a service that will allow all who wish to honor Hunter and/or his family with no personal contact or risks. 

 

Visitation will be conducted as a drive through funeral procession led by the Trussville Police Department.  To participate in this celebration, simply come to the First Baptist Church of Trussville between 12:30pm and 1:00pm where Trussville Police will direct all participants where to get in line. The procession will leave the church at 1:00pm sharp, led by City Officials to Happy Hollow Road where visitors will be allowed to pay their respects from their cars and drive through the circle to offer their condolences to the family.  Due to health concerns in our world at this time, we ask that no one get out of your car at any time.  You will be able to speak to the immediate family by rolling down your window.  The drive through procession will conclude at 2:30. Please join us for this celebration.
